What time do doors open for events?
The opening times vary according to the nature of the event and preference of the promoter/artist. Typically times are as follows:
- Regular season Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Georgia Force games, doors open 60 minutes before the start of the game.
- Family shows, including the circus, ice shows and character shows, doors open 60 minutes before show time.
- Concerts generally open doors 90 minutes before show time.
Where do I park when I come to Philips Arena?
There are many parking options in the downtown area surrounding the arena. The lots closest to the arena are as follows:
- Centennial Deck, on the corner of Marietta and Centennial Olympic Park Drive
- CNN Deck, south of the Centennial Deck on Centennial Olympic Park Drive
- Georgia Dome Decks, accessible from Mangum, via Northside Drive.
Can I purchase parking in advance for an event at Philips Arena?

Can I take public transportation to Philips Arena?
MARTA trains are the most convenient public transportation means to reach Philips Arena. The arena station is on the East/West Line - W1 Philips Arena/Dome/GWCC/Omni.
Can I bring a still or video camera to a Philips Arena event?
- Still cameras are allowed at all sporting events, including Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Georgia Force games.
- Family shows, including the circus and ice shows, typically allow still cameras, although there may be restrictions on flash photography.
- Most concerts prohibit all forms of recording devices, including still cameras.

What is Philips Arena's stroller policy?
- Guests are welcome to bring their children in strollers. For those sitting in sections 108-122 or any section in the 200's, 300's or 400's, you will be requested to check in your stroller at the Guest Sales and Service Center immediately after entry. Strollers are not permitted in those seating sections. The Guest Sales and Service Center is located between the CNN/Hawk Walk entrance and the Philips Experience/Thrashers Nest Staircase.
- Guests sitting in 101-107 will also be requested to check in their strollers. They may do so at the Main Concierge Desk adjacent to the First Horizon Club Entrance.
- Guests sitting in suites are allowed to keep their strollers, but must store them in their suite during the event.
Is there seating for disabled guests?
Philips Arena has numerous seating options for disabled and accessible seating needs guests. Contact the Philips Arena Box Office for more information concerning accessible seating availability and pricing.
Is there a Lost and Found area at Philips Arena?
- During events, the Guest Sales and Service Center serves as lost and found for our non-club guests. The Main Concierge Desk serves as lost and found for our club and suite guests.
- After events, please dial 404-878-3000 to connect to the Lost & Found line.
If someone does not answer the phone, all messages will be returned the following business day. Lost item pick-up is available during routine business hours on weekdays, with limited availability after hours and on weekends.
What is Philips Arena's smoking policy?
Philips Arena is a smoke-free facility. There are designated outdoor smoking locations, with one exclusively for club and suite guests. Any Philips Arena team member will be able to direct you to the nearest location.
